Unique, smooth and pure: In the Kala (“Art”) camel blanket, our Nepalese weavers combine natural baby camel yarn with the purest cashmere yarn on the handloom for the first time. This fabulously elegant blanket warms and caresses you like the sun's rays from the Mongolian expanse and takes you on the trail of the highly respected nomadic culture.

When lovingly combed baby camel yarn for the young camel's first hair change and cotton-soft cashmere yarn flow together, something wonderful is created: This blanket envelops body and soul, strong to the touch and at the same time supple and soft.

The camel blanket Kala warms you exactly as you need it - perfectly adapted to the outside temperature and your physical condition. The warm colors of brown caramel and cream white in the full surface also have a balancing effect.

Traditional weaving art

Woven with the utmost care by the weaver on the handloom: the delicately woven center stripe of pigment-dyed cashmere in peach orange gives the blanket a cheeky break, crowned by narrow stripes in blueberry blue and hand-knotted caramel brown fringes on the narrow side. The exclusive twill-weave web design is woven for VvE in Nepal.

Special features of the product:

For the first time and exclusively for VvE, the pure and natural baby camel yarn was woven on a hand loom. Together with the untreated cashmere yarn, this blanket has a strong yet supple feel. The quality in this combination flatters the environment and is always adapted to body temperature. The delicate woven center stripe gives the blanket artistic freedom to skilfully decorate the exclusive pattern.
