VvE was inspired by the 4 elements and the globe for the design of the drinking glasses. They are specially made crystal glasses, mouth-blown, made of the finest colored glass mass, in 4 different colors. Each glass is individually blown and shaped by a glassmaker using a glass pipe into the appropriate beechwood mold. A job that requires a great deal of skill and sensitivity from the glassblower (called glassmaker).
This traditional old craft is still maintained and valued today in the Bavarian Forest in the family business of the crystal glass manufactory von Poschinger.
The glass is available in 4 colors. Each glass is individually handcrafted. The edge is polished and the logo on the bottom of the glass is hand-blasted with gemstone dust. When the glass is full, it sparkles through the thick bottom.
The glasses are stable, feel comfortable in the hand and are easy to wash, most easily by hand or in the dishwasher at max. 40°. Polishing with the VvE natural linen tea towel gives the glasses a beautiful crystalline shine.
Suitable for water, wine, juices, whiskey. A glass for many occasions that sits comfortably in the hand or can be served on a VvE wooden linoleum tray. With our linen tea towel, it can be quickly and streak-free dried in no time at all.
