Why am I doing all this?

Sometimes, when I look up at the sky in the evening and the world grows quieter, I ask myself exactly this:

Why have I been doing all this for 13 years?

13 years in which I have thrown myself wholeheartedly into this vision – a label that not only produces beautiful pieces from cashmere, yak, and baby camel wool in Mongolia and Nepal, but creates something genuine, something honest, with infinite passion, something truly special.

I know all the other cashmere labels and how tempting their stories sound. And yet – or precisely because of that – I can't help but create something unique, something different.

And I do all this because: I know where my wool comes from.
Because I personally know the nomads who travel with their animals through the vastness of Outer Mongolia, because I see how respectfully they treat their goats, yaks, and camels, and how hard they work.

Because I know that our animals are gently combed only once a year, carefully and with dutiful dedication.
Because I know that we process the wool in its pure, natural state and mix our colors from real azo-free pigments, not from chemical cocktails that poison rivers.

We produce in limited quantities to keep our inventory small and only produce on demand. I do this because I can look my suppliers in the eye and feel a genuine connection, not just transactions.

Because I believe that true luxury is not about something being expensive – but about every piece in the collection being created from the finest wool with love, respect, and responsibility.

And our customers feel that.

The farm in South Africa with our first rose geranium distillation, the handmade slippers in Hungary, the pure collections – all of this is business, yes. But above all, it is a conscientious and sincere promise to the earth, to the animals, to the people who work with their hands, and to the customers who wear and appreciate my pieces.

Sometimes the path is lonely.
Sometimes the competition is louder.
But deep down, I know: I do all this because something within me burns for a more beautiful, honest kind of luxury, enriched by the many moving stories that make these VvE products so special and extraordinary.

And as long as this fire and love burn within me for my tireless work, I will continue to spoil you.

For all of you who feel that it makes a difference.
